Celebrate Diversity Month started in 2004 as a way to recognize and honor the diverse communities, perspectives and lived experiences that make up our teams and organizations! It's a great opportunity to bring teams together to have some fun.

This virtual-escape-room-style online learning event is a gamified hour of teammwork, collaboration and learning, while you dive into topics like:
Inclusive Language
We'll learn about why it's important to be more inclusive with our language - and some easy, but important changes to make in our everyday.
Neurodiversity
We'll learn about neurodiversity - what it is, and how to make workplaces more welcoming for neurodiverse people.
Intersectionality
Intersectionality is a term that describes the idea that different aspects of a person’s identity, like their race, gender, sexuality, class, and other human characteristics, intersect and overlap to create a unique human experience.
Pronouns
We'll also learn about the LGBTQIA+ community, we'll dive into the LGBTQIA+ acronym and talk about why you might want to share your pronouns with people.
Disability
Disability isn't a bad word! In fact, we'll talk about the thriving Disability community, people-first vs. identity-first language and how you can cut those last bits of ableist language out of your vocabulary.
Evolving Language
Language is always, always changing! We'll talk about recent shifts in language, where they came from, why they're important and why we should get onboard to support our colleagues and friends!

Here's why teams choose HELM Life Programming:
Fully-Hosted
HELM Life can host up to 200 participants per session in groups of 6-8 participants, each group with their own fun and talented HELM Life host to support your learning and guide the conversations.
Pricing per event is $1500 for the first 40 participants + $25pp after that. There are 2 events in the series.
Self-Hosted
The choice is yours! This is a great option for DEI Councils, ERGs and HR Teams who have some DEI leaders to help facilitate the conversation.
Self-hosted events are $2000 for both sessions in the 2-Part Series.
Easy to Organize
HELM Life Learning Events take 45-60 minutes to complete and fit within a 1-hour calendar block. They're led by our event emcees and are easy to plan, well-researched and fun to do - organizers simply need to get teams to their link, and we'll take over from there!
